Hi. My name is Jarad Jarmon, and I am the Managing Editor. I have been working at The Daily Eastern News for roughly two years. Moving through my last year at Eastern, I know I want to have a job searching and discussing information and news on the things that I love like film and TV as well as spotlight interesting people and places that deserve to be known. Just at Eastern, I have talked to so many incredible people with interesting backgrounds and stories to tell. An Illinois State Police trooper with the traffic crash and reconstruction unit analyzes the scene of a hit and run on Sunday at the pedestrian crosswalk between Lincoln Hall and McAfee Gym. One subject was airlifted to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. According to Sgt. Justin Peterson of the Charleston Police Department, police are looking for a light green full size truck in connection with the hit and run.
