Speakers to give business tips

The newly re-branded Sustainable Entrepreneurship through Education and Development is having a student and alumni share insight on successful business practices for Entrepreneurship Week.

Alexis Teichmiller, a marketing major, runs the A.T. Avenue Traveling Boutique, a business she founded. She will be presenting “How to be the CEO of Your Own Life” from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday in the Robertson Auditorium in Lumpkin Hall.

Bill Skeens is the president and owner of the Prairie City Bakery located in Vernon Hills. He will be presenting “Starting a Business and Lessons Learned Along the Way” from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Robertson Auditorium.

Aaron Moore, the president and owner of the Precision Painting and Decorating Service in Bellwood, will finish out the week discussing where he found his success and what people can do to start up a successful business. He will be speaking Thursday from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. in Robertson Auditorium.

Both Skeens and Moore are Eastern alums.
