Panthers of the Week: McKenzie Oslanzi, Joe Stoddard

The female Panther of the Week is going to McKenzie Oslanzi from the softball team.

The freshman pitcher from Marseilles picked up her 20th win of the season in the third and final game of the series against Morehead State.

Oslanzi also leads the Ohio Valley Conference with most wins overall (20) and within the conference (12).

Oslanzi’s record in the OVC is 12-1.

Oslanzi is also ranked third in the OVC in strikeouts (135).

The male Panther of the Week is going to Joe Stoddard from the track team.

The freshman distance runner from Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, put his name in the program’s record book once again.

Stoddard competed in the 5,000-meter run at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.

Stoddard finished in third place, setting a personal best time of 14:16.47.

Stoddard’s time is the ninth best time in program history for Eastern.
