Panthers of the Week: Dylan Drumke, McKenzie Oslanzi

The male Panther of the Week is going to Dylan Drumke from the baseball team.

The redshirt junior outfielder from Libertyville recorded a grand slam home run against the University of Dayton on Saturday afternoon.

Drumke recorded the grand slam in the fifth inning, allowing junior utility Tyler Castro, redshirt senior infielder Robby Taul and senior catcher Grant Lashure to score.

Eastern ended up winning the game 4-0 Saturday afternoon in Coaches Stadium.

The female Panther of the Week is going to McKenzie Oslanzi from the softball team.

The freshman pitcher from Marseilles went 2-0 against University of Tennessee-Martin Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon.

In the Panthers’ 2-1 win over the Skyhawks on Saturday afternoon, Oslanzi allowed only eight hits and one run. Oslanzi also recorded 10 strikeouts.

In the Panthers’ 11-5 win over the Skyhawks on Sunday afternoon, Oslanzi was credited for the win as she pitched for 3.2 innings.

Oslanzi allowed zero hits and zero runs. Oslanzi also recorded two strikeouts.

Oslanzi is currently 11-1 for the season.
