The Embarras Valley Film Festival kicks off today with a scene performed from “The Crucible.” Jerry Eisenhour’s theater class will act out the scene at 3:30 p.m. in the Movement Studio of the Doudna Fine Arts Center. “The Crucible” is a play by Arthur Miller based on events involving witchcraft that happened in Salem, Mass., in 1692.
