Jayne Ball-Saret works on designing costumes in her shop, Grand Ball Costumes. Ball-Saret said a costume's popularity depends on what movie or T.V show had come out during the year. While she does buy licensed costumes, she said she designs most of the costumes herself. Other than Halloween, she also designs costumes for more than 80 high schools.
