The female Panther of the Week is going to Macy McGlone from the basketball team.

The senior forward from Greenville, Wisconsin, recorded two double doubles this week against Little Rock and Southeast Missouri State.

Against the Little Rock Trojans, McGlone recorded 14 points and 21 rebounds, and she also recorded three blocks and two assists.

Against the SEMO Redhawks, McGlone recorded 27 points and 19 rebounds, and she also recorded two blocks and one assist.

The male Panther of the Week is going to Abraham Johnson from the track and field team.

The freshman from Westmont won the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Track Co-Male Freshman Athlete of the Year.

Johnson was a three-time OVC Freshman of the Week winner throughout the indoor track season.

Johnson recorded a 14.71 meter distance jump in the Fighting Illini Challenge and finished in third place in the triple jump category.

Johnson finished his season recording personal bests in the high jump (2.02 meters) and triple jump (15.60 meters) categories.
