Panthers’ football lists superstitions before game day

EIU travels to Natchitoches, Louisiana to play Northwestern State.

We asked some of the Panthers about their superstitions before game days.

Redshirt junior safety Brandon Guido said listening to music is one of his superstitions.

Redshirt freshman running back MJ Flowers said his superstition is stretching by himself before stretching with the team.

Redshirt junior quarterback Pierce Holley and senior kicker Stone Galloway said they don’t have any superstitions.

Junior wide receiver Eli Mirza said his superstition is doing yoga every morning before a game.

Junior defensive back Zay Gentry said his superstition is scrolling through TikTok, making videos and saving a couple of drafts before the game.

The Panthers are traveling to Northwestern State to try to advance to 4-1 against the Demons on Saturday.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
