Today is Feb. 10, 2020. Here are the five things happening at Eastern you need to know today

1. McCann returning to old position

Eastern’s interim vice president for business affairs, Paul McCann will be returning to his old position as Eastern’s treasurer after a new VPBA is hired. 2. Academic advising moving to McAfee basement

Academic advising at Ninth Street Hall will be moving to the basement of McAfee Gym. Eastern’s interim vice president of business affairs Paul McCann confirmed the move at the Council on University Planning and Budget meeting Friday.

3. Eastern improves to 8-4

The Eastern women’s basketball team won its third OVC game in a row Saturday over Morehead State  67-62 in overtime. The Panthers are now 8-4 in OVC play, matching their conference win total from the last two seasons combined. 4. Men’s basketball team grabs another win

5. Track, field sets more records
