3 arrested, 1 at large in connection with alleged home invasion, armed robbery, kidnapping

The Charleston Police Department responded to an alleged home invasion, armed robbery and kidnapping at 11:49 p.m. Tuesday at the Unique Suites Hotel, 920 W. Lincoln Ave.

An adult male victim reported being pistol-whipped and forced to accompany the male suspects  to the Mattoon Wal-Mart and Lambo BP where they forced him to purchase or attempt to purchase items for them, according to a press release.

Three of the four suspects were detained at 120 N. 12th Street; evidence found at that address points to a burglary at the Coles County Habitat for Humanity ReStore that occurred around the same time, according to Detective Tony West of the Charleston Police Department.

Derrall Enlow, 33, of Charleston, was arrested Wednesday on charges of alleged armed robbery with a firearm, kidnapping, aggravated battery with a firearm and home invasion, according to Coles County Sheriff’s Office inmate records.

Michael Lewis, 40, of Charleston was arrested Wednesday on charges of alleged armed robbery without a firearm, kidnapping, aggravated battery and home invasion.

Zeth Oliver, 30, of Charleston was arrested Wednesday on charges of charges of alleged armed robbery with a firearm, battery, kidnapping, and home invasion.

Martin Oliver 24, of Charleston, also known as Pete Oliver, remains at large, according to police.
