Eastern alum and current Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo and his wife Candice welcomed their first child on Monday, according to Cowboys vice president Rich Dalrymple.

Hawkins Crawford Romo was born at 5:30 p.m. Monday, checking in at 19.75 inches and weighing 8 pounds, 8 ounces.

Romo and Candice were married in May.

Romo and the Cowboys will play the in team’s first pre-season game on the road against the Oakland Raiders. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN.
