Rachel Fisher, the director of Eastern’s Student Community Service department, speaks to members of the Residence Hall Association at their meeting on Thursday in the basement of Thomas Hall. Fisher encouraged members to volunteer at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 16, and to participate in 29 Dollars in 29 Days, where the halls compete to see who can do the most with 29 dollars during the month of February.
