One fourth of kids are/have been prescribed prescription drugs. Kids-teens were prescribed antipsychotics 9.6 million times in 2009. (Audrey Sawyer

American youth, overmedicated?

According to a Dec. 29 CNN report, doctors gave 9.6 million antidepressant prescriptions in 2009 and approximately 1 million of those prescriptions were given to children under the age of 10.
