In two of The Daily Eastern News’ recent editorials, we’ve been alerted after the fact that we reported some incorrect information in the stories.

Given this is a student newspaper, run entirely by Eastern students who work long hours and attend classes full-time, and given this was our first week back after summer, mistakes are bound to happen. But being students does not give us an excuse to make mistakes of any kind.

The only way we can teach our reporters to not make the same mistakes twice is by talking to them about it. So anytime there is an error in the paper or online edition, please let us know as soon as possible so we can check it out and run a correction.
