Britney Spears ran into a parked car last year and is now in court because she did not have a valid California driver’s license. Spears’ father says she does not permanently live in California but has a valid Louisiana driver’s license.

Poor Britney. She’s being picked on again by law enforcement. It’s not like it was a kid! Why should she be punished for not following the law like everyone else?

Personally, every time I see something with Britney Spears on it, I want to turn away. It is so ridiculous. Will she ever grow up?

I wish Britney would take responsibility for her actions. She seems to always be in the news for something that she says isn’t her fault. Well, she hit the car without a valid California license, and to me, that’s her fault. Shouldn’t she pay the consequences for her actions?

Britney didn’t even show up for the case. Her father testified without her being there.

She could face a maximum of six months in jail and/or $1,000 in fines if convicted. And we all know she won’t receive the maximum sentence. Her lawyers will find a way so that she is barely punished at all. Just another slap on the wrist for Ms. Spears.

Britney would look so much better if she just got a backbone, stood up and said, “Hey, I made a mistake and I’m willing to take my punishment now.”

Now Britney is saying that once she gets custody of her kids, she will head back to Louisiana to live for a while. Good.

Maybe she can get her act together and focus on producing some good music. Maybe a Louisiana Britney will be better than the California one.
