The female Panther of the Week is going to Kya Trejo.
The junior defender from Geneva recorded her first collegiate goal on Thursday against Valparaiso.
Trejo scored the lone goal to give the Panthers the 1-0 win over the Crusaders.
During the 66th minute, Trejo from the right side of the field passed Valparaiso’s goalie to seal the win for the Panthers.
The male Panther of the Week is going to Jackson Liley.
The freshman forward from Lowell, Michigan, scored his first collegiate goal on Thursday against the University of Chicago.
Liley scored the first goal of the game for the Panthers as the team went on to win 3-0 against the Maroons.
In the 66th minute, senior forward Sam Eccles passed the ball to Liley to score the goal.
