EIU Human Services welcomed members of the Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital to the EIU Student Medical Center on May 22.

The three new medical providers that will be working at the student location include Advanced Practitioners Janet Baker, APRN, Kimberly Dowland, APRN, and Becky Ogle, APRN.

According to a press release from Sarah Bush Lincoln, the Vice President of Practice Management Brooke Zerrusen said that the members of SBL are very grateful to be working alongside Eastern to help and ensure the safety of others.

“We’re pleased to lend our assistance and expertise to our community partner, Eastern Illinois University, and operate the EIU Student Medical Clinic.”

Eastern’s Vice President of Student Affairs Anne Flaherty expresses gratitude towards the hospital members and all the work that was endured to make this transition as smooth and as quick as possible.

“We’ve worked throughout the year ironing out all the details and streamlining the processes, so the transition appears seamless to students,” says Flaherty. “They will continue to have the best care possible in the same convenient location.”

The current hours for summer are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. During the academic school year, the EIU Student Medical Clinic will be open 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
