Vighnewsara Manda, a graduate student studying computer information and technology, cooks tomato masala curry, rice and tomato dal Saturday afternoon at the Parkplace Apartments. Back in India, Manda said he didn't prepare food, because his parents made it for their children. After coming to America, he and his brother started cooking together. Manda said his favorite Indian food is chicken biryani and American food is a chicken chipotle ranch burrito from Taco Bell.
