Pantherpalooza to return at Library Quad Tuesday

The fall Pantherpalooza will take place Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Library Quad if the weather permits, if not, the event will be relocated to the Ballrooms in the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union.  

Pantherpalooza is a way for students to get involved with Registered Student Organizations, RSOs, and learn about what they have to offer and choose if they want to join. 

There are over 100 RSOs participating, and refreshments and door prizes will be available.  

Different types of RSOs will be present including athletic, academic, Greek, religious, multicultural, social, honorary and service RSOs. 

Some of the athletic RSOs that will be there include EIU Dancers, Women’s Club Volleyball, Elite Elegance and more. 

Academic RSOs registered to be at Pantherpalooza include Computer Science Club, Creative Writing Club, Criminal Justice Club, Political Science Association, Minority Teacher Education Association and more.

Greek RSOs expected to be present include Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc., Iota Phi Theta, Fraternity Inc., Sigma Kappa Sorority and more.

Religious RSOs that will be at Pantherpalooza include Christian Campus House, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Immanuel Lutheran Campus Ministry & Comfort Dogs and others.

Multicultural RSOs attending Pantherpalooza include Black Student Union (BSU), Culturally Diverse Society at Eastern Illinois University, EIU Pride- LGBTQA, Latin American Student Organization and more.  

The community service RSOs that will be there include Construction Club, N.A.A.C.P, Cause for Paws, Sociology-Anthropology Club, Student Dietetic Association and others.

The Young Democratic Socialists of America, a political RSO, and student government, a government RSO, will be present as well.

Some of the social RSOs registered to be at Pantherpalooza include American Sign Language Club, Chess Club, and more.

The honorary RSOs expected to be present include Beta Alpha Psi, Phi Sigma Pi and more.
