Creative Outlet Ep. 9: Tyler Jordan of Good Looks

Ryan Meyer

I heard about Good Looks on Twitter by way of music writer Steven Hyden, and once I listened I was not disappointed. Their debut record, “Bummer Year,” has been one of my favorite releases of 2022 and I’d highly recommend giving it a listen. In this episode I talked with Tyler, the band’s frontman and guitarist, about how things have been going for them so far. We discussed their influences and some of his lyrical inspirations.

The band’s lead guitarist, Jake Ames, was hit by a car the same night the band played their record release show and was hospitalized. He’s now recovering, but Tyler says he has a ways to go. Here is the link to his GoFundMe.
