Opportunity to join RSOs at Pantherpalooza Tuesday

The spring 2022 Pantherpalooza is set for Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the University Ballroom and the Grand Ballroom in the MLK Jr. Union.

Pantherpalooza is an event for students to meet various registered student organizations, RSOs, and learn about what the RSO does and be able to join if interested.

There will be door prizes and refreshments for students who come.

There are over 100 RSOs registered to be at Pantherpalooza tomorrow.

Of the RSOs, there will be academic, athletic, honorary, greek, social, multicultural, religious and service types of RSOs.

Some of the academic RSOs that will be at Pantherpalooza include the Computer Science Club, Creative Writing Club, Criminal Justice Club, Political Science Association, Women Exploring Business and Technology, Pre-Law Society and others.

Athletic RSOs registered to be at Pantherpalooza include EIU Dancers, EIU Equestrian Team, Elite Elegance, Women’s Club Volleyball and more.

Some Greek RSOs registered for the event include Alpha Gamma Delta, Sigma Nu, Lambda Chi Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Delta, Tri Delta, Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc. and others.

Social RSOs planned to be at Pantherpalooza include the American Sign Language Club, EIU Gamer’s Guild, EIU Society of Model United Nations and others.

Multicultural RSOs that will be there include Black Student Union, EIU Pride – LGBTQA, Latin American Student Organization (LASO), and others.

Religious RSOs registered for Pantherpalooza include Chi Alpha, Christian Campus House, Church of Jesus CHrist of Latter-day Saints, Immanuel Lutheran Campus Ministry & Comfort Dogs, Wesley Foundation and more.

Community service focused RSOs planned to be at Pantherpalooza include Cause for Paws, Construction Club, Leadership and Excellence Club (ROTC), National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Sociology-Anthropology Club, Student Dietetic Association and others.

The 2022 Pantherpalooza is open for all students as an opportunity to meet student organizations and to get involved with on-campus groups. 

Pantherpalooza starts at 2 p.m. and will end at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in the University and Grand Ballroom in the MLK Jr. Union.
