The OVC announced Wednesday that the schedules of the fall Olympic sports will be postponed until Sept. 17. The decision affects the women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s tennis seasons.

In addition, the women’s soccer and volleyball seasons will be limited to only conference competition.

The football season is not affected by this decision. Winter and spring sports are not affected either. The Eastern swimming season is also not included, with both the men’s and women’s teams not scheduled to participate in exhibitions until Sept. 19, when they are scheduled to host the EIU Pentathlon at the Padovan Pool.
