Today is a special edition of DEN Quick News containing all the information you need to know about COVID-19 at Eastern.

1. Classes expected to stay online all semester

Eastern extended its spring break until March 29 and classes will be online-only when the semester resumes. The university will reopen March 23. Full story:

2. Cancellations hit Eastern in wake of COVID-19

Eastern’s campus will see almost all of its scheduled events, including every event expected to draw over 50 people, canceled because of the COVID-19 outbreak. The Spring Concert, Black Student Reunion and Greek Week make up just three of many canceled events. Full story:

3. OVC cancels all spring sports

The Ohio Valley Conference announced Wednesday the suspension of all its spring sports in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. This includes all Eastern sports such as baseball and softball. Full story:
