Charleston City Council will feature raffle licence for boy diagnosed with Luekemia

According to the City Council agenda, The upcoming Charleston City Council meeting held on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Charleston Town Hall, will feature a raffle license for seven year old Tristan Farris, who was diagnosed with leukemia. The event proposed was proposed by “Tristan Team Blue” and they would raise funds for Farris’s treatment and medical expenses.

There will be resolution bid awards for Street Materials for MFT Section 18-00000-00-GM and Seal Coat Street Maintenance for MFT Section 18-00000-00-GM. The results from these bids will be added to the agenda/packet prior to the meeting.

An ordinance will also be held for accepting public improvements in a 20-acre woods subdivision. The plaque/certificate for exemplary service above and beyond the call of duty will be presented to Charleston firefighter/ paramedic Phil Matar as the last order of business.
