Summer camp counselors are needed for the “Excelling Through Enrichment” camp to be held at Eastern from June 23 to July 20.

Rasheda Garrett, Lawson Hall’s associate resident director, said four full-time and two part-time positions are open for the camp, which will be held on campus.

Counselors will receive complimentary housing and food. They will also receive a stipend.

“Excelling Through Enrichment” is a camp for high school juniors and seniors from East St. Louis who will receive college credit for attending the camp.

Camp attendees and counselors will partake in numerous activities such as swimming and watching movies, among others, throughout the camp. Garrett also mentioned that camp attendees and counselors will take a trip to Chicago sometime during the camp.

Applications are available at Lawson Hall’s front desk. An application due date has not been set, but Garrett said she hopes all applications will be in some time in mid April.
