Kymoni Dixon, a sophomore majoring in exercise science for physical therapy, works at Thomas Dining hall, swiping cards. Dixon said she likes the convenience of having an on-campus job although being a student worker can become hectic.

Taylor Dining will not be open for dinner this school year according to Housing and Dining Director Mark Hudson.

“We’re short on staffing and we tried to figure out what we could make adjustments to that would have the least impact on students,” Hudson said.

Housing and Dining staff determined that dinner at Taylor was the least attended meal. Hudson said that with the other dining halls’ capacity, he doesn’t predict students having to wait in long lines even with this change.

Taylor will still be open for breakfast and lunch Mon-Fri.

Other dining hall hours will be much the same as last year:

Thomas will serve lunch, dinner and late night on weekdays as well as brunch and dinner on weekends.

Stevenson Grill will offer brunch every day and reservation dining for dinner on Thursday and Friday.

Stevenson Tower Deli will be open for lunch and dinner every day.

All dining hall hours are subject to change for holidays, breaks and other specific reasons.
