Adam chose movies to show to Luke this week and landed on two Mexican films which both focus on interpersonal relationships and happen to share an actor. Amores perros (sometimes translated “love’s a bitch”) and Y tu mamá también (released in English as And Your Mother Too) are both artfully directed, well written and well acted, though the guys did have personal preferences between the two.

There aren’t any true spoilers in this episode, but there is some discussion of fictional animal cruelty. Adam and Luke explain how the effects happened on screen without truly hurting any animals, but listen at your own discretion.
