The Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteerism has announced their monthly non-profit drive will benefit Children’s Advocacy Center of East Central Illinois.

The office website says “The Children’s Advocacy Center provides a safe, child-focused environment for physically and sexually abused children as well as advocacy and case management.”

Items for donation can be dropped off from March 15 through March 26. The items can be delivered to the Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteerism.

High priority donation items include:

backpacks & reusable bags

gallon & quart-sized ziplock bags

bath towels

bedding, blankets, & pillows

toiletries & hair brushes

gas cards & restaurant gift cards

Students who donate will be entered into a drawing for dining dollars.
