Today is Feb. 11, 2020. Here are the 5 things happening on campus you need to know today.

1. Deans selected for College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Education

Eastern filled its open dean positions in both the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the College of Education on Monday. Eastern selected Barbara Bonnekessen for the CLAS position, Eastern’s largest college, and Laretta Henderson for the COE position.

2. Faculty Senate to meet Tuesday

Eastern’s Faculty Senate will hear a report from Eastern Provost Jay Gatrell and also get updated on changes at Eastern’s textbook rental at its meeting Tuesday in the 4440 room of Booth Library. 3. Panthers climbing OVC standings

4. Eastern softball begins season 4-1
