Star gazers and casual viewers were able to watch the Orionid Meteor Shower on Monday and Tuesday night. According to BBC, optimal viewing hours were from 11:30 p.m. to dawn. This photo, while it does not contain meteors, shows the progress of the stars moving across the night sky in Ashmore, Illinois.

During the PMB Festival, there was a rain delay that pushed back performance times for large high school bands by 45 minutes. We go to, like, sororities and partner with them because we give back 5 percent of our sales to their philanthropy, so we always do, like, fundraising. They usually invite us on parents weekend or philanthropy week — it’s Alpha Phi’s week, so that’s why we’re here.”
