Lucy Hill, a junior vocal performance major, works on a set piece for “These Shining Lives,” in which she will be playing a reporter and daughter, on Monday afternoon in the workshop at the Doudna Fine Arts Center. Hill said she likes working in the shop because she learns life skills and it relieves stress. “If I get an F in a class, I can come here and destroy a box,” Hill said.

The trio went to Costa Rica and took their Spanish lessons at Véritas Universidad. Monte de Oca said studying abroad is literally life-changing; he proposed to Mausehund during the trip, and they got married just a month ago.

A group of students organize for a Bible study through Campus Outreach on Thursday night in the Andrews Hall basement. There were about 40 students in attendance Thursday for the group’s large meeting. The students meet for Bible studies at different locations every week in smaller groups.

Weishaar said she’s looking forward to her classes this semester as well as learning new and different things during them. She added that she was least looking forward to chemistry because she heard it was a hard class.
