Edible Book Festival to be virtual for second year in a row

Staff Report

Booth Library’s annual Edible Book Festival will be held virtually for the second year in a row.

It was held virtually in 2020 following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event, which is part of National Library Week, invites participants to create foods based on their favorite books.

Previous entries have included cakes decorated to look like books, food made to look like items from books, or even foods based on what characters in books have eaten.

Contestants can submit their entries online to Booth Library until 4 p.m. on April 2.

Voting will occur from April 5-8 and winners will be announced April 9.
