The University Board postponed the announcement of the artist for the spring concert.

The reveal was scheduled to happen Wednesday at noon, but a statement at 1 p.m. said the announcement would be delayed over Eastern’s Snapchat account.

According to the Snapchat, the reason for the delay was:

“In the university’s efforts to address the national public health concerns regarding COVID-19, the UB Concerts – Big Reveal Announcement of this year’s EIU Spring Concert artist has been delayed.”
