1. Faculty Senate addresses white power propaganda

Eastern’s Faculty Senate discussed the creation of a sub-committee to address issues of diversity and race on campus and also debated the language of a joint-senate letter draft condemning the white power propaganda left on campus last week. 2. Student Senate to hear textbook rental committee report

The textbook rental committee will deliver a report to Eastern’s Student Senate at its meeting Wednesday night. The committee will give the Senate its recommendations for the future of textbook rental at Eastern. 3. ‘Know your Rightz’ held in Lumpkin

A presentation on the legalization of marijuana and the rights and expectations that come with legalization was delivered Tuesday night in Lumpkin Hall. 4. Winners and losers from a wild OVC basketball week

The Eastern men’s basketball team did its part in shaking up the OVC standings last week, knocking off first-place Murray State and first-place Austin Peay in consecutive games.
