Nontraditional students to be celebrated at Blair

Staff Report

Eastern’s nontraditional students will be celebrated Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the foyer of Blair Hall as part of the university’s National Nontraditional Student Week.

A nontraditional student is often determined by a student’s age, although other variables include background, residence, level of employment and being enrolled in nondegree occupational programs, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.

The School of Extended Learning will be handing out snacks and giveaways for the event.
