The National Weather Service in Lincoln, Illinois has issued a wind advisory for a 35-county area including Coles County for 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.

Sustained winds of 30 mph and gusts of at least 45 mph are expected, making driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.

The highest winds will be in the morning and early afternoon.

The NWS advises extra caution be used during this time.
