Charleston High School and Middle School students huddle together while waiting for their buses to pick them up after being dismissed one hour early at 2:20 p.m. and 2:25 p.m. Charleston Superintendent of Schools Jim Littleford said that buses were delayed arriving at the middle and high schools because they were stuck in traffic and some had gotten stuck on hills. All students waiting for buses at the middle school and high school had been picked up at 3:00 p.m.
