The University Board will present Aubrey “Drake” Graham at the spring concert April 6. This will be Drake’s first time headlining a North American solo tour, and the concert will feature rapper K-Os and the synth-pop band Francis and the Lights.

Drake is a Canadain rapper and orginally starred in the TV series “Degrassi: The Next Generation.” He signed to Lil Wayne’s label, “Young Money Entertainment” in June 2009.

Drake’s album, “Thank Me Later,” will be released May 25.

Here is what some students had to say about the upcoming concert.

I’ve been following him since before he came out, so I am looking forward to seeing him perform.” -Brittany Robinson, a senior English major“I was thinking about maybe going, but I am not a huge Drake fan.” -Victor Bellan, a graduate student in communication studies“I got a ticket. (I look forward to) just having a good time. I don’t know many of his songs.” -Jennifer Gallaher, a freshman finance major“I have to work. I was going to go, though. I really wanted to go but nobody would take my shift.” -Cescily Quinn, a junior communications studies major“I’m not really interested. (Drake’s) not someone I had interest in seeing. I don’t justify paying if I am not into an artist.” -Kim Baren, a sophomore elementary education major
