Eastern’s internet service provider (ICN) will be upgrading the Charleston area core internet router on Thursday night.

The downtime will start at midnight and last about 15 minutes on Thursday night (technically Friday morning Jan 21, 2005.)

Only external internet access will be interrupted. EIU internal networks will continue to be operational and access to internal services will not be interrupted.
