Meinheit works up a storm for the star…. Literally
Matthew Meinheit made the jump from sports to news as he will become associate news editor for the Daily Eastern News this fall.
Meinheit, who has worked for the Kankakee Daily Journal before becoming a valuable cog in the machine of the News, has worked diligently throughout the summer for the Star in Tinley Park.
Meinheit has cornered the market on golf this summer, covering numerous aspects of the game along with a myriad of news and feature items. As his two years at the News has conditioned him to do so, Meinheit has written like a madman.
