Concern

I’m writing about this phrase, found on the online poll on your website:

“We may not go down in history, but we’ll go down on your mom”

You do understand that this phrase is talking about having oral sex with someone’s mom? I know that you are a college newspaper, but I expect a tad more professionalism than this. And I’m not just a reader; I work with a campus ministry that advertises in your paper.

I thought you may want to know that one of your web readers considers this humor sophomoric and juvenile, not to mention lude. Is this the only way you can attract readers?

I’m not looking for censorship – merely common sense when it comes to what you publish, both on the web and in print.

Thanks…
